   Go to http://www.akc.org and look under beagles. There are two sizes of beagles so pick one or check on both. There will be a list of beagle breeders across the USA, along with beagle rescue. Email some of the beagle breeders and tell them what you are looking for: sex, age, color, show or pet, etc. and ask for an estimated price.

   If you don't insist on an 8 week old puppy but would be willing to accept an older puppy or young adult, retired showdog or a rescue dog, you can probably get a beagle for a lower price.

   Why go to a breeder their is plenty at your local animal shelter,aspca or beagle rescue.

   Why would you buy one unless you want to show the dog – and that’s a very expensive proposition.

   There are beagle rescues – adopt one from there and give a homeless dog a good home.
