I'm looking for a Pocket Beagle puppy also know as an Olde English beagle in Texas?
Im looking for a puppy for my apartment I want a pocket beagle its a Miniature beagle but I cant find one anywhere. Any help would be appreciated I would prefer the breeder be in Texas but any help would be great.
This is a BYB gimmick. Please don't spend your money on something that is likely the result of two runty beagles in poor health being bred.
Look for a full-sized beagle from the list of breeders on this website: http://clubs.akc.org/NBC/

There is no such thing. A "Pocket" Beagle is a term used by uneducated breeders who want nothing but money for poorly bred small beagles.
They only come in two true sizes 13inch and 15inch.
Please research some more

You can't get something from a breeder that isn't even a breed.
Adopt a mix from the shelter–"pocket Beagles" are mutts/mixes anyway.

Anything in the beagle category - pocket, little, big, giant, is not going to want to be in an apartment.
Not only should you stay away from anyone purposefully breeding something that is not the right size, but it is not the right dog for the job.
If you live in an apartment, the best dog you could get would eb a retired racing dog - a Greyhound. Yes, they're big, but they are couch potatoes and love to have all the extra room an apartment affords them - you see, they grow up living in a box not much bigger than they are, and stay there almost 23 hours each day.
Greyhounds are wonderful on a leash, gentle, funny, and have the biggest brown eyes this side of a Beagle. Trust me on this - you don't want a Beagle, go look at the Greyhound Rescue. You won't be disappointed.

Me too. It should have an adult weight of 14 ounces. *Sarcasm intended*

There is no such thing as a 'Pocket Beagle' or a mini Beagle. Beagles are either 13 inches or 15 inches tall….no smaller, no bigger. If you already found one, make sure it's not like a runt that they're calling a Pocket beagle. Also make sure that the breeder knows what they're doing, and make sure it's not a puppy mill. If you for some reason don't know what a puppy mill is….it's a breeder that sells puppies at higher prices just for money. They don't care about health, or anything, all they want is money for their poorly bred dogs.

No such thing as a min Beagle. There are two size classes of Beagles the 13" and the 15", no such thing as a min Beagle.

I researched pocket beagles, and they get nearly as big as a small beagle. They are getting "pocket beagles" by breeding dachshunds and beagles or chihuahuas and beagles. You would be better off spending less money on a full bred small beagle.

Almost got one until I did my research.
