For food, you need a good brand such as Canidae, Blue Buffalo, Innova, etc. Do not feed your dog cheap crap such as "Ol' Roy"

Actually, you do not need to feed a food labeled specifically for puppies. If you go with a high quality food from the list I posted the puppy will be more than fine on it. Do not feed any food from a grocery store or wal-mart. Innova EVO, Origin, Nature's Variety, Wellness CORE, and Taste of the Wild are all excellent brands that your beagle will thrive on. Opting for cheaper brands will not save money in the long run and your new dogs health will suffer because of it. The puppy will have to eat a lot more of a lower quality food than it would with the brands listed above.
And yeah, like the above poster said, that collar looks fine.
