Crazy Beagle: Grovey hates being tied up!
Last December he got hit by a car and meat was hanging off his legs; he had to be sewn back up. No broken bones, thankfully, and as you can see, he’s made a FULL RECOVERY… Crazy Beagle!!!

furrypeanut ur right i always take my beagle out for 2 hour walk every day i get bored as but i like to see her happy and also at first we tied her up to a tree but then we hired a pet trainer and told us never to do that and all dogs need a back yard ..how would u guyz feel beig tied to a tree for almost the whole day? :/

I’ve only seen “the Crazy Beagle” on a couple of youtube vids- I *fervently* hope that he usually gets a *whole* lot more slack! (I’m doing my level best to sound concerned without getting either nasty or preachy)

yup you’re right, ya gotta give them a LOT of walks and attention. like you see here, Grovey cannot stand to be tied up for more than a minute or two.
beagles will strangle themselves just to get loose… and omg, the barking is INSANE.

Its really cruel to leave a Beagle tied to a tree for any long period of time. Not sure how long you have him there.. might have been for a short time…but for anyone thinking of getting a Beagle, tying them out is inhumane. They need a fenced yard and ALSO walks.

OMG that is so sad …
OMG that is so sad he got hit by a car : ( mine jumped out of the back of the truck when i was going 60 mph down a country road- i thought i killed him : ( worst feeling in the world. but luckily he just tore up his back feet a little bit but if his leash had been an inch longer he would have probably been caught by the back tire : S needless to say he doesn’t ride in the back anymore! glad grovey is okay!

man, that’s terrible! thank goodness he’s OK now! Glad you can smail about it.
Grovey was really lucky. It looked like his front and back leg was taken through a meat grinder. Somehow no bones were broken. The vet just pulled the skin back together and sewed it up. Took a long time to recover, and he had HUGE long scars running up both legs!
