but he licked the cat and my dog (beagle) is 2 years old…i havent taken it to a vet…should i? its looks pretty young to take to the vet….
Dogs can catch almost anything a cat may have, they get worms, most people don't do it, but cats should also have shots and flea & tick med., and it would be smart to bring your cat an exam, any new pet you bring into your home should be checked and get any thing they have taken care, it's a lot cheaper to do it now than to wait until somehing shows.

you do need to take it to the vet and dogs can get ringworms from a cat.
