I have a 10 year old Beagle and a 5 month old German Shepherd. Whenever the German Shepherd comes neer the beagle the beagle barks and then they get into a small (but aggravating) fight. Please help me find a solution!

yeah ya see, you need to set rules and boundaries for both dogs so that the beagle will accept the shephard into the pack….

I have a 3 month old Beagle puppy and I'm not sure if I should have her spayed when that time comes. What are the pros & cons to having this done (Besides the obvious)?

Pros: You will not be driven crazy or have a mess to deal with when she is in heat. You will not have stray dogs beating a path to your door and pissing all over you and your property. Your dog will live longer and be healthier and less likely to develop urinary/cystitis problems, female problems, or a multitude of other health issues. She will not have false pregnancies. She will have cleaner toilet habits. She will be easier to train. She will be more loyal and protective. You won't have to pay an extra fee every year (its an additional $100 for unneutered pets unless they are registered breeders) you get her license

I have a lovely female cocker, she's about 4, i used to have a small male pinscher too but i had to give him away, unfortunately Daisy almost never got along with him;
Now i'm considering buying a female beagle but i don't know if my actual dog will like her.
My dog is really cute and friendly it was just an exception that she never got along with the pinscher.

I don't tolerate my dogs not getting along. If the older dog is picking on a puppy, I correct that behavior, and if the puppy is picking on my older dog, I correct that too. They can put the new puppy in her place, but I will not tolerate them being mean to her. I will not let the new puppy get too excited with the older dogs, because baby teeth just hurt. You have to be the one to correct things.
